80s to 90s Works

1984 was a turning point in Gattegno's work. Until then, his paintings were influenced by the grayish light of Paris, the city in which he lived and created for many years. In that year, he returned to bright colors, which he has used in his early years as a painter.
Tel Aviv was his main source of inspiration, and in his paintings, he tried to convey the bustling pace of life in the city with vibrant and dynamic tempos.
